Clinical Observation om the Change of Blood Pressures¢¥ in- the Surgical Patients


Abstract
To observe the change of blood pressures in the surgical¢¥ patients, clinical¢¥ records-of 233-surgical¢¥ patients who were operated under the general anesthesia at the Kyung Pook National¢¥. University Hospital during recent 3 years, have been analyzed. Among 233 patients-, 100 patients were major operation group, 85 patients were medium operation group and 48 patients were minor operation group depending upon the length of operating time and the degree of operative` trauma:
The results was summarized as followings;
1. The preoperative: blood pressures seemed to, be increased than the controls blood; pressures; measured at the ward previously.
2. The postoperative blood pressures measured in the recovery room seemed to be decreased than the control blood pressures.
3. It is our. observation that the postoperative blood pressures in the recovery room were much decreased than minor operation owing to the degree of the surgical trauma and the length of the operating time.
